The Lg Art Cool Prestige ductless heat pump uses an Inverter type compressor. This type of system uses a lot less energy and is more silent than a system with a conventional compressor. The compressor's variable speed makes it easy to stabilize the room's temperature in order to maintain a constant comfort. Once the desired temperature is attained, the compressor modulates at low speed to maintain the temperature instead of functioning at full throttle and be energy-guzzling.
