Combining an outdoor heat pump and indoor air handler, the ResoluteTM system offers the best of both worlds in heating and cooling. Unlike most standard heat pumps, the Resolute system’s innovative engineering makes it capable of producing heat in outdoor temperatures as low as -30 ºC, and even lower with the addition of auxiliary electric heat. When the weather gets hot and muggy, the heat pump runs in reverse, providing cool, dry air throughout your home.
Equipped with a variable speed compressor, the Resolute system offers high-efficiency cooling and heating in every season, qualifies for Energy Star®^ and may be eligible for energy-efficiency rebates. In addition to energy savings, the all-electric Resolute system doesn’t burn fossil fuels or produce combustion byproducts (also known as greenhouse gases) that must be vented to the outdoors. Whether you want to be more environmentally responsible or need to meet provincial or local regulations, a heat pump can help reduce your carbon footprint.
